Today’s Truth:. Colossians 1:9-10 ESV And so, from the
day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled
with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as
to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in
every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.
Point to Ponder: Paul was very intentional about praying and
pleasing God. His lifestyle was purposeful; prayer was purposed, wisdom was purposeful,
his walk was purposeful and bearing fruit was purposeful.
Point to Pray: Dear Lord, help me to have a life of purpose
filled living.
My Intentional View:
IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE - 21-DAY FINANCIAL FAST STARTS TOMORROW.
For 21 days commit to the following:
1. Refrain from any non-emergency or non-essential spending.
a. An emergency (or essential item) is defined as food, hygiene, school supplies,
cleaning supplies, medicine/medical supplies only.
b. This includes: No going to the mall, retail establishments, online or window
shopping.
c. No restaurant, carry out or delivery meals including fast food and coffee.
d . No paying for entertainment or purchasing gifts or gift cards (unless prescheduled
before fast). No credit card or debit card use. Use cash only.
2. Keep a journal where you outline every penny you spend. Keep a log on your phone,
or in a small notebook which can fit in your purse or backpack. It is awareness that
brings change.
3. Determine what you have by listing all your assets.
4. Determine what you owe by listing out all of your debts.
5. Pay your bills on time.
6. Spend only what is necessary.
7. Get a copy of your credit report.
8. Create a debt reduction worksheet.
9. Develop a budget so that every penny counts.
10. Determine what your financial goals are to discover where you want to be.
11. Reflect on what it means to live a generous life.
12. Pray about your financial future and increase of your income.
13. Begin tithing to GOD through Church
